Slava Pak (b. 2002, Nukus, Uzbekistan) is a director, video artist and creative producer based in Moscow.
Working across narrative film, commercials, music videos and video art, his practice is rooted in an interest in how inner experience shapes our perception of reality. His work often focuses not on the event itself, but on a state, memory or emotional tension that shifts the way we see the world.
He graduated from the HSE University School of Design with a degree in Screen Arts. During his studies, he focused on directing and visual storytelling, exploring image, atmosphere and rhythm as tools for creating emotional experiences. His practice develops at the intersection of auteur cinema, contemporary art and commercial directing, with a consistent interest in image, dramaturgy and the viewer’s perception.
His work includes the short films Eat the Frog and KIRA, the video art piece playground, music videos and commercial projects. playground was presented at the international exhibition Listening Eyes (Projet Betula, Paris, 2026), while an early version of Eat the Frog was presented at the Repetition of the Past? exhibition at HSE Art Gallery (Moscow, 2023).
Alongside his personal projects, he works on commercial projects in film and visual content, developing projects from concept and screenplay through directing and post-production.
He is currently completing several narrative films while continuing to develop his directing practice at the intersection of cinema, contemporary art and visual culture.
